Wedding Venues
Wedding rate is $400 per hour with a three hour minimum for 100 guest maximum
This is a unique way for you to choose how long you want your wedding event to last. Your planned hours could include rehearsal dinner, wedding day preparations, ceremony, meals, entertainment, dancing and all that is connected to the wedding.
The venue price includes an arbor, tables and chairs set up and clean up, linens, whispy shear curtains, overhead starry lights, use of wedding decorations, plenty of parking space, a comfortable place to get ready and large kitchens for rehearsal or reception meal preparations if not using a caterer.
There's a $500 non-refundable retainer due upon execution of a contract agreement. The balance is due 30 days prior to your event. After your initial site tour and you're fully booked for five or more hours, we offer a complimentary one hour rehearsal.
The property is available 8:00 am to start decorating and other preparations that will be part of your hourly rate. Weddings can last until 10:00 pm. When the hours you contracted end, cleanup begins. Please do it promptly or it will add to your hourly rate. We'll be nearby to gladly help if you need it.
West Venue
Our West Venue has a covered 100 foot by 40 foot pavilion with a tall roof covered with magical lights which are perfect for weddings, receptions and dancing. (The main pavilion lawn is currently being upgraded so it is not as pretty as it will be next year.)
The bride and groom rooms are in a rustic red barn with lots of mirrors, sofas and lighting. At this time, there's no plumbing, but there's a convenient portable potties nearby. There's a full size kitchen and an adddtional two more refrigerators in the next room and a convenient door opening for easy food handling.
East Venue
The East Venue has three locations to choose for your ceremony, on the large patio, top of the meadow by the river or close to the river. The venue price includes an arbor, table and chair set up, use of decorations, use of the house to get ready and a large kitchen for reception dinner preparations if you're not hiring a caterer.
Wedding Accommodations
If you choose to have your wedding at Meadow by the River, the house is included in the venue price for preparing meals, wedding day preparations for the bride and groom, best men, bridesmaids, parents and grandparents, wedding coordinator, photographer and videographer. If not using a food caterer, the kitchen is also available for your food coordinators to prepare food. Please note, no one else is allowed in the house before and during the wedding meals. This will help make everything flow better.
If you choose to rent the house overnight, two night minimum, $300 per night, it would be ideal if those eleven guests, not in the wedding party, could refrain from being underfoot in the house during preparation before wedding and until after dinner. All other guests need to use the porta potties and washing station that is available.
