Accommodations
Meadow by the River Shouse (shop house) rents at $325 per night with 2 night minimum for 11 guests, 7 days maximum. Children 2 and under stay free. For your convenience, there's a crib and extra sleeping pads in the upstairs bedroom.
Alcohol
Provide your own alcohol vendor that is licensed and insured.
Self Check In
For your convenience, the shouse is a keyless entry, and you'll use a code to enter the side door of the house. Check in is 3 pm and check out is 11 am. RV and tent rentals are numbered.
Extra Guests
If you're renting the shouse short term, please don't have big parties or weddings without checking with us. We have different rates for large gatherings. We don't mind a few extra guests though.
Internet
We recently signed up for Starlink, so you'll be in the wilds but connected.
Porta Potties
Guest attending a wedding need to use the convenient porta potties instead of using bathrooms in the house to cut down on traffic and confusion.
Quiet Times and Privacy
Music must be turned off at 10:00 pm, and we ask after that you keep noises as low as possible especially after 11 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbor's privacy and not go beyond the posted private residents areas.
Cleaning and Damage Fee
There's no cleaning fee if the venue is reasonably clean. The damage fee is $59 per booking.
No Pets on the Premises
Service dogs only.
Liabilities
We have insurance that covers events. You're responsible for your safety of your family and invited guest. The Pend Oreille River and forest are next to the venue, and we cannot be responsible for accidents.
For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external security recording camera located on the northeast corner of the patio.
