Whether you're looking to use the wedding venues, have a fun family reunion, a corporate gathering or just relax by the river, Meadow by the River offers several opportunities to stay and enjoy.
East Venue Shouse
If this is your first time staying in a shouse, a shophouse (shop + house = shouse), you're in for a treat. Everything is bigger with lots of room. The great room has a thirteen foot ceiling to enjoy the spacious living room, dining and fully furnished kitchen.
Add two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other queen size, laundry room and two full size bathrooms, you'll have plenty of room for your reunion, event or getaway in the country.
A spiral staircase to the second floor loft takes you into the tv room, cubby play corner for little people, full bath and a large bunk room that sleeps seven plus a few more for younger ones who can sleep on a pullout mattress or crib.
Love the Great Outdoors!
Families and guests of all ages will find plenty of entertainment outdoors. There's a playground for the kids, a forest for their creative imaginations, and a fun treasure hunt for everyone to enjoy. Make memories playing Granny Pants, cornhole, spike ball, bocce ball, volleyball or exploring the trails. The large patio is perfect for gathering, eating, singing around the campfire, eating s'mores and dancing under the stars.
The slow-moving river resembles a peaceful lake so it's easy to take advantage of activities like canoeing, swimming, and just relaxing. And when you're ready to boat in the water, use our private boat ramp. Bring your water toys and get wet! There's folding chairs and a picnic table by the water play area. It's not a sandy beach but it's fun for sure.
RV and Tent Areas
There's three campsites for your RV with water and electricity. Each site can have one tent at no charge. If you want to have more or just tent on the meadow by the river not by an RV, there's an extra charge. Water is nearby along with porta potties. Please note, RVs and tents sites are not available during a wedding event.
